So this week I would have been posting episode 100 of the podcast. I had actually planned out a cool episode and gotten a group of people together to record and discuss the chosen topic, The Mandella Effect, which is one I had been putting off for a while. We got together this past weekend, even with the big Coronavirus scare, and locked ourselves away in a hotel room and proceeded to record the anticipated episode 100 of the ed·DIE Horror & Paranormal Podcast. We went on talking for nearly an hour, me & my guests, which included Discipline Theory guitarist Jose, graphic designer David Bleek, Horror movie aficionado & filmmaker Rigo Garay and two other friends.
Once we finished, we saved the files and left it to be edited later and then to be released this week. Well, when we went onto the editing the next day… there was nothing. The files, which were there the day before and saved, where gone, nowhere to be found on the computer. The program we use to record clearly shows that something was recorded and that there are two files that are supposed to be there, but they are just not there. Perhaps the Mandela Effect did not want us to be talking about it. Is it possible it’s a sentient being somehow and is conscious of itself and others who talk about it?
Well, in any case, this week’s episode which would have been episode 100, will be postponed much like many other things in the world with the Coronavirus wreaking havoc on everything and everyone. We are discussing redoing the episode and hoping the Mandela Effect doesn’t come after us… again. Or perhaps something else even more nefarious took the files. We’re hoping to be able to do it again and get it out to you. Or should we move past it? There is a lost episode from our past that we also have not released from many episodes ago.
